Since 20 March 2026, this briefing has been published weekly. The 30 October issue was number 32. I hope our readers have enjoyed the content provided, as well as the efforts to gradually improve these briefings by refining the instructions given to the AI, Claude, for carrying out this task. As you are no doubt aware, although the briefings are automatically generated by Claude (including the analyses and comments), their production is supervised by a human editor and the content is checked as far as possible. Any errors or inaccuracies identified are corrected. Improvements are made by the human editor in each issue.
In this way, Proselytism.info is building, issue by issue, a body of documentation that is likely to be unique in its kind due to its broad and, as far as possible, balanced perspective. Through situations observed in very different religious, geographical and linguistic contexts, comparisons become possible, potentially going beyond the purely documentary dimension. Furthermore, thanks to the use of AI, the content of the weekly briefings is not based solely on English-language sources or those in other Western languages, but also reflects information published in other languages.
As such, these briefings offer a collection of information and research leads that is useful not only for academic researchers, but also for journalists, analysts, leaders of religious organisations, and anyone curious to learn more about the dynamics and tensions surrounding proselytism and the missionary activities of different religions.
After nearly eight months of publication, I have decided to switch the briefings from a weekly to a monthly schedule, with effect from November 2026. Indeed, the number of visitors to the site remains low, suggesting that a weekly briefing exceeds the needs and expectations of the audience interested in these topics. A monthly briefing will likely be more useful.
The next briefing will therefore be published at the beginning of December 2026 (covering the month of November), the following one at the beginning of January 2027 (covering the month of December 2026), and so on.
To improve the navigability of the content, a detailed table of contents, with hyperlinks to each item, will appear at the start of each issue, starting with the next one. I would also like to remind you that the site’s search engine is effective for finding specific information within the content.
Thank you for reading this and for continuing to show your interest in Proselytism.info and its briefings.
